There's even a concept RamVac onboard vacuum cleaner under the second-row bench seat. Envisioned as a working vehicle, the Backcountry X Concept has a 12-by-14-inch deployable work surface between the two front seats. The interior features front-row bucket seats in neutral green, with orange accent stitching that matches the anodized orange air vents. Tube steps on the side rails and a rear bed step help people get up into the truck. The wheels are 20-by-9.0-inch matte black Fuel Heater units with 37-inch BFGoodrich tires. The truck also has a two-inch lift kit with Fox shocks and four Mopar 5-inch LED off-road lights on a tubular grille guard. The exterior two-tone exterior blends Matte Iced Silver Titanium and matte black. Search youtube for DECKED and you'll get a lot of owners giving glowing reviews. The Backcountry X isn't just about hauling more gear. I've been searching around a bit more and found this "DECKED" brand sliding drawer system for approximately $1400: The only video I've seen where the guy actually goes into a couple cons is this one: Search youtube for DECKED and you'll get a lot of owners giving glowing reviews. I'm really tempted because even though I've got this luxuriously large crew cab in Roxy, there really is a severe lack of storage space for the kind of stuff I feel like I need in my truck at all times (straps, bungiees, recovery hooks, shackle bolts, snatchblocks, etc.) Rumor has it that removing these decked systems is about 15-20mins of unscrewing so I'm really seriously considering pulling the trigger. That being said, the decked system's weight rating is 2000lbs distributed equally over the whole top, so it'd be capable of having some furniture tied down to it. The $1400 covers the bed insert with the drawers, the dividers and toolboxes are extra, but for the money this is a lot of organization/storage space.ĭownside is that at the end of the day, your bed is 12" shallower, leaving the distance from the deck of the decked unit to flush with the bed rail is about 10" of depth.
